Sentinel staff report–
The annual Spring Carnival is again set up in the Sunrise Mall parking lot through March 25, with attractions including a carousel, Ferris wheel, “Drop Zone” tower, and other rides and games. The carnival opened on March 16, despite rain showers earlier in the day.

An event listing on the mall’s Facebook page says the carnival will be open weekdays from 4 to 10 p.m. and weekends from noon until 10 p.m., weather permitting. Prices run $30 for an unlimited ride wristband, and individual tickets can be purchased for $1.30 each, with ticket bundles of 20 to 50 tickets sold at a discounted rate.

A spokesperson for the carnival was unable to be reached to provide a full list of rides featured this year.

The Fair Oaks-based Brass Ring Entertainment company regularly tours the state each year with its “Midway of Fun” carnivals, setting up at various county fairs and events. The company’s website, midwayoffun.com, says the group has been providing carnival amusement since 1991.
