The following is a summary of select incidents listed in the Citrus Heights Police Department’s daily incident bulletins for November 9-16, 2017.
November 16, 2017: Total of 79 incidents listed.
Incident report categories of note: 22 disturbance-related, 3 homeless-related, 4 burglaries, 4 petty thefts, no grand thefts, 2 assault reports, and 9 collisions.
5:35 p.m., Suspicious circumstances, Auburn Blvd. A woman with a young child rang the doorbell of a residence on Auburn Boulevard. She would not answer questions through the door and also kept her head down and would not look up, a caller told police. The caller said she was unsure if the woman was still on the porch. Disposition listed: “unable to locate.”
8:25 p.m., Verbal disturbance, Butternut Drive. A couple who had broken off a relationship got into a heated argument, during which the man reportedly “sprayed whipped cream” on his former lover, before running outside. A description of the man and an associated vehicle was provided. Disposition listed: advised.
11:32 p.m., Domestic violence, Huntington Square Apartments Office on Huntington Square Ln. A 20-year-old man reported that his girlfriend had punched him in the face four times. He declined medical attention, but reportedly had a swollen eye and scratches on his face. Disposition listed: “refer other agency.”
November 15, 2017: Total of 69 incidents listed.

12:06 p.m., Assault with a weapon, Linda Sue Wy/Bartig Wy. A caller told police that a woman attempted to hit him with her Toyota Rav4 while he was on foot. Disposition listed: report taken.
4:10 p.m., Loitering, Target on Sunrise Blvd. A woman in her 40s was reportedly “talking about government conspiracies” inside Target and had been wandering through the store for more than two hours, while holding merchandise she hadn’t purchased. Disposition listed: canceled.
9:21 p.m., Suspicious circumstances, Auburn Woods Drive. A caller told police they had received five phone calls from the same man within half an hour. A voice message was also left which had a little girl in the background asking, “who are you?” Police were advised that the child may have been with a man she didn’t know. Disposition listed: assisted.
November 14, 2017: Total of 74 incidents listed.
Incident report categories of note: 22 disturbance-related, 10 homeless-related, two burglaries, seven petty thefts, one grand theft, two assault reports, and three collisions.
4:41 a.m., Criminal threats report, Sierra Ridge Apartments on Auburn Oaks Ct. Police were notified by a caller about a loud party at the Sierra Ridge Apartments which reportedly involved heavy drinking and drug use. After police had left, the caller said party-goers blamed him for calling police and said they were “getting weapons to kill him and his son.” Disposition listed: advised.
8:31 a.m., BOLO (Be on the Lookout), Greenback Lane. A man, woman, and possibly a baby were reportedly living in a car, with their belongings spread out along a walkway at an unspecified location on Greenback Lane. The man had previously been served a trespassing notice. Disposition listed: advised.
1:14 p.m., Grand theft, Red Maple Way. A woman on Red Maple Way, off Woodmore Oaks Drive, told the police that a moving company had stolen all of her belongings. The company had reportedly failed to deliver her items and was refusing to speak to her after she called them multiple times. Disposition listed: advised.
6:35 p.m., Vandalism, Sunrise/Old Auburn. A motorcycle rider punched a car mirror as he drove by, shattering the glass. He was reportedly splitting lanes but didn’t have enough room to squeeze between vehicles. The motorcycle was described as a dark-colored Harley Davidson with Nevada plates. Disposition listed: report taken.
