Sentinel staff report–
On Nov. 4, the Citrus Heights Homeless Assistance Resource Team (HART) will host an all-you-can-eat spaghetti feed fundraiser to support efforts to help homeless and low-income veterans.
The event will be held at Holy Family Church at 7817 Old Auburn Rd. and will feature a live band, raffles, and several auctions, according to an event flier. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for the dinner event are $15 and funds raised are designated to support HART’s annual Veterans Stand Down in April, as well as the group’s upcoming winter shelter program.

Event sponsors include the Sunrise MarketPlace, Sacramento County Supervisor Sue Frost, and The Way Ministries. Organizers also welcome additional sponsors, as well as donations for the raffle and auctions, which are tax-deductible.
HART is a local nonprofit that was formed in 2014, with a mission to implement long-term solutions to homelessness through public-private partnerships. The group is credited with helping bring a homeless navigator to the city to help connect homeless with resources and assistance, as well as hosting a first-ever winter shelter program in Citrus Heights last year.
