Latest Citrus Heights police logs include an attempted robbery of a woman in the Safeway parking lot, trouble with an ex-girlfriend’s son pouring urine on a vehicle seat, an arrest made related to a stolen vehicle at Auburn Boulevard and Greenback Lane, and a woman throwing rocks at vehicles near Old Auburn Road.
The following is a summary of select incidents listed in the Citrus Heights Police Department’s daily incident bulletins for Oct. 17-25th.
October 25, 2017: Total of 79 incidents listed.
Incident report categories of note: 24 disturbance-related, 13 homeless-related, 3 burglaries, 3 petty thefts, 4 assault reports, and 3 collisions.
8:03 a.m., Burglary Vehicle, Somersworth Dr. A caller told police his ex-girlfriend’s son had pried open a vehicle door and “poured urine on the seat.” Video of the incident was reportedly available. Disposition listed: advised.
8:21 a.m., Disturbance Loitering, Sonny’s Hair & Nail Salon on Greenback Ln. An ongoing issue was reported to police that involved five transients with a dog behind the nail salon. Disposition listed: arrest.
3:30 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Bubbies Love Bistro on Sunrise Blvd. A male caller reportedly phoned the restaurant, said “Heil Hitler,” and then hung up. The restaurant is known for its Jewish and kosher-style foods. Disposition listed: advised.
7:56 p.m., Stolen Vehicle, Auburn/Greenback. An arrest was made following an incident involving a stolen vehicle at Auburn Boulevard and Greenback Lane. No other information was included in the police log.
October 24, 2017: Total of 71 incidents listed.

2:53 a.m., Burglary, Sunrise Golf Course on Arcadia Dr. Police were advised that a male suspect was breaking into a barn at the golf course, apparently based on live surveillance video. Disposition listed: report taken.
1:34 p.m., Assault with a Weapon, Old Auburn/Sylvan. A woman was reportedly standing in the median and was “throwing rocks and passing motorists and yelling at passersby.” Disposition listed: checks ok.
7:45 p.m., Burglary, Brockwood Wy. A burglary occurred at a residence between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Oct. 24, reportedly resulting in the loss an electronic face scrub brush, three pairs of shoes and a bag of hats. Entry appeared to have been made through a bathroom window. Disposition listed: report taken.
11:17 p.m., Driving Under the Influence, Walgreens at Greenback/Dewey. A suspected DUI driver had pulled into the parking lot of Walgreens and had “fresh damage” to her vehicle. She had reportedly been driving on Dewey Drive on the wrong side of the road. Disposition listed: arrest.
October 23, 2017: Total of 68 incidents listed.

12:22 a.m., Robbery, Safeway on Greenback Ln. An unknown man reportedly approached a woman in the Safeway parking lot and asked to use her phone. After she told him to use the phone inside Safeway, he then “pulled out a knife and demanded her phone and debit card.” The man ended up fleeing without taking any items. Disposition listed: report taken.
3:33 p.m., Suspicious Circumstances, Slippery Creek Ln. A caller reported seeing a man park a vehicle near Slippery Creek Lane, behind Grocery Outlet, and meet another man who appeared out of the greenbelt area. The men then went back into a “bushy area” where the caller said they were “engaging in sexual acts.” Although no acts were actually seen, the caller said he was sure of the activity due to a “history of sexual intercourse” in the area. Disposition listed: unable to locate.
8:45 p.m., Illegal Dumping, Sperry/La Luna. Several people in a Chevy pickup truck were reportedly dumping couches on the street when confronted by a resident. They were “reloading it back up,” when police were notified. Disposition: Checks Ok.
