Latest police logs include several burglaries, another indecent exposure report of a man flashing his female neighbor, a suspicious man with a golf club outside a 7-Eleven store, and an altercation outside the WIC office on Greenback Lane.
The following is a summary of select incidents listed in the Citrus Heights Police Department’s daily incident bulletins for Sept. 7-13th.
Sept. 13, 2017: Total of 67 incidents listed.
Incident report categories of note: 12 disturbance-related, 3 homeless-related, 1 burglary, 3 petty thefts, 2 assault reports, and 4 collisions.
11:02 a.m., Criminal threats report, Meadow Apartments on Greenback Ln. A woman told police she had asked her neighbor to turn down his music the prior night because her children were sick and trying to sleep. The man allegedly replied by yelling through her window that he had “guns bigger than her” and would kill her. Disposition listed: cancelled.
1:33 p.m., Disturbance loitering, Water Ski World on Greenback Ln. An ongoing problem with transients was reported by the water ski store. The transients had allegedly been using the alleyway behind the business for a bathroom, and a group of them were seen “throwing items against a wall.” Disposition listed: assisted.
2:36 p.m., Suspicious circumstances, 7-11 at Sperry/San Juan. A man outside the store was reportedly “shaving some graphite off of a golf club with a knife.” He then began to swing the golf club in an “odd way,” that appeared suspicious to the caller. Disposition listed: advised.
Sept. 12, 2017: Total of 80 incidents listed.
Incident report categories of note: 14 disturbance-related, 6 homeless-related, 0 burglaries, 5 petty thefts, 1 grand theft, 5 assault reports, and 7 collisions.
12:20 a.m., Collison, I-80/Antelope Road. A motorcycle had reportedly attempted to exit the freeway shortly after midnight, but drove off the off-ramp and had crashed into some weeds. Injuries were unknown. Disposition listed: assisted.
6:59 a.m., Burglary, Molina Health Care on Sunrise Blvd. An unknown individual broke into Molina Health Care with a key and reportedly stole $700 in bathroom accessories. Disposition listed: report taken.
4:35 p.m., Indecent exposure, Longford Dr. A woman reported that her neighbor was standing in his doorway naked, advising police that over the past six months he had been “flashing her, following her, throwing things at her, and threatening to kill her if she [walked] on his walkway.” She said two other neighbors with her were also reporting the issue. Disposition listed: advised.
Sept. 11, 2017: Total of 71 incidents listed.
Incident report categories of note: 14 disturbance-related, 15 homeless-related, 2 burglaries, 4 petty thefts, 1 grand theft, 2 assault reports, and 2 collisions.
12:08 p.m., Burglary, Wildwood Way. A resident reported their garage and car had been burglarized around 3 a.m. the prior night. The theft resulted in the loss of a generator, leaf blower, and tool bag, which had a combined worth of about $2,000. The caller said suspect(s) most likely broke into the car first, stealing a garage door opener which they used to open and rob the garage. Disposition listed: report taken.
3:33 p.m., Suspicious circumstances, WIC Office on Greenback Ln. A caller reported that a woman was surrounded by several men on bicycles and was yelling for help outside the WIC office on Greenback Lane. She was seen kicking at one of the men and the caller believed it was possible “she may have taken one of the males’ bikes.” Disposition listed: unable to locate.
5:00 p.m., Verbal Disturbance, Wooddale Way. A woman’s roommate allegedly kicked in her door and tried to attack her. The incident was reported as an “ongoing issue since last night.” Disposition listed: advised.
