2017 Citrus Heights Police Logs: robbery, assault, indecent exposure

Latest Citrus Heights police logs include indecent exposure at Walmart, robbery of a driver on Antelope Road, criminal threats at an apartment complex, and an alleged assault at the 7440 Club on Auburn Boulevard.

The following is a summary of select incidents listed in the Citrus Heights Police Department’s daily incident bulletins for August 29 through September 6.

Sept. 6, 2017: Total of 74 incidents listed.
Incident report categories of note: 16 disturbance-related, 9 homeless-related, 1 burglary, 0 petty thefts, 3 assault report, and 6 collisions.

12:55 a.m., Assault at 7440 Club on Auburn Blvd. A caller said he was punched in the face while inside the bar. He was upset because he was kicked out of the bar afterward and was seeking to file a police report. He then said the suspect was no longer on scene and changed his mind about filing a report and instead said he was “just upset that he was thrown out of the bar.” Disposition listed: unable to locate.

12:57 a.m., Assault at 7-eleven on Mariposa/Greenback. A woman said she had been assaulted by her ex-boyfriend who had dragged her by the hair and allegedly took her phone. He then pulled her hair and “busted out the car window,” before running across the street on Mariposa Avenue towards the Meadows Apartments. Disposition listed: assisted.

8:35 a.m., Criminal threats report at Renaissance Apartments on Greenback Ln. A woman told police a man had walked up to her while she was in the parking lot and said “if he saw her again he was going to kill her.” The woman said she did not know the man, but believed the man had mistaken her for another woman that lives above him in the apartments. She said she was concerned for the safety of the other woman and provided a description of the man involved. Disposition listed: advised.

2:02 p.m., Shoplifting at Sears store in Sunrise Mall. A woman was detained inside the store for shoplifting. She was described as cooperative. Disposition listed: arrest.

6:16 p.m., Robbery at Antelope/Saybrook. A bicyclist approached and punched a caller who was driving, taking a “bank bag” with $600 in it. A suspect description was given. Disposition listed: unable to locate.

10:54 p.m., Petty theft at Safeway on Greenback Ln. A man reportedly walked out the back door of Safeway with about $100 in alcohol. The suspect was described as having an “afro wig and a large machete knife” hanging from his belt. He also had left behind his hat at the store. Disposition listed: Assisted.

11:19 p.m., Indecent Exposure at Walmart on Auburn Blvd. A “naked male” was reported next to a semi trailer parked on the side of Walmart. Disposition listed: unable to locate.
