A 38-year-old Citrus Heights man was arrested on Friday after detectives seized about $10,000 in heroin from a residence near San Juan and Madison avenues.

Police said approximately 4.5 ounces of heroin and “evidentiary items related to the sales of heroin” were seized while serving a narcotics search warrant on Friday evening at a residence on the 7400 block of Willowcreek Drive, off San Juan Avenue. The department estimated the heroin to have a street value of approximately $10,000, according to an Aug. 11 news release.

Police identified the suspect involved as Robert “Robby” Shannon Oneill, of Citrus Heights. He is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance for sale and is currently ineligible for bail due to a “1275 hold,” which allows for bail to be withheld for public safety reasons or if the money is likely to have been illegally obtained.

Sacramento County Superior Court records indicate Oneill has a criminal history involving felony possession of methamphetamine for sale in 2011, which earned him five years parole.

Most recently Oneill is listed as having violated parole. Records also show he completed a court-ordered batterer’s treatment program last month.
