May 4, 2017: Total of 60 incidents listed.
Incident report categories of note: 25 disturbance-related, 7 homeless-related, 1 burglary, 1 collisions, 6 assault reports, 1 stolen vehicle, 6 petty thefts.
6:52 a.m., Disturbance Loitering, Applebee’s on Auburn Blvd. Two RV’s and several other vehicles had reportedly been parked for several days in the parking lot across from Applebee’s. Police were told that “numerous unknown subjects appear to be cooking breakfast outside.” Shopping carts and property were also spread out near the vehicles. Disposition listed: advised.
8:24 a.m., Intoxicated Person, Denton Way. A drunk man was reportedly passed out at the end of a driveway on Denton Way, preventing a resident from getting their vehicle out of the driveway. When asked to move, police were told that the man just “rolls around and grunts.” Disposition listed: report taken.
10:15 p.m., Assault, Taqueria Tres Hermanos on Greenback Ln. A cashier was reportedly assaulted by a man who was “stealing a tip jar” from the restaurant. The suspect was last seen running east on Greenback Lane and was described as a man in his twenties, with a California tattoo on his cheek. Disposition listed: report taken.
May 3, 2017: Total of 50 incidents listed.

11:02 a.m., Vandalism, Auburn Blvd. A vehicle apparently tried to smash through the rear door of an unnamed business on Auburn Boulevard and an unknown person “then attempted to cut sheet rock to gain access” to an adjacent check cashing location. The incident was also listed as a possible burglary. Disposition listed: report taken.
1:33 p.m., Grand Theft, Molina Health Care building on Sunrise Blvd. Tools were reportedly stolen during the day from a work site at the former Molina Medical building. The value of the tools was not specified, but the incident is listed as grand theft. Grand theft involves property stolen with a value over $950. Disposition listed: “on line report.”
5:42 p.m., Robbery, Men’s Wearhouse on Sunrise Blvd. A caller said they gave several panhandlers $60 who were outside the Men’s Wearhouse store. The panhandlers then demanded the caller’s wallet under threat of assault, but left without the wallet in a green Ford Explorer. No weapons were reportedly involved. Disposition listed: report taken.
7:43 p.m., Homeless Camp, Tile Outlet at Mariposa/Greenback. Six transients were reportedly camping and “urinating” behind the former Tile Outlet store at Greenback Lane and Mariposa Avenue. Drugs were also possibly involved. Disposition listed: “checks ok.”
May 1, 2017: Total of 56 incidents listed.

1:21 a.m., Assault, Rusch Park. An open line call was made to police with screaming heard in the background. The description listed hearing “I will kill you,” someone screaming “I can’t breathe,” muffled noises, and “stop.” Disposition listed: assisted.
10:38 a.m., Robbery, Dollar General on Auburn Blvd. A female suspect was arrested after she allegedly “put scissors to the (caller) and said she was going to cut her.” She was reportedly trying to steal from the store. Disposition listed: arrest.
3:54 p.m., Verbal Disturbance, Tokyo Buffet on Greenback Ln. Police were contacted after two customers at the Tokyo Buffet restaurant were reportedly refusing to pay their bill “because the food wasn’t good.” Disposition listed: advised.
