April 6, 2017: Total of 73 incidents listed.
Incident categories of note: 30 disturbance-related, 8 homeless-related, 5 burglaries, 4 petty thefts, 7 assault reports, 5 collisions, 2 stolen vehicle reports.
6:45 a.m., Stolen vehicle, Pronghorn Ct. A 1986 Nissan pickup was reportedly stolen overnight on Pronghorn Court, off Whyte Avenue. The vehicle had been left unlocked and had a “sticker of Jesus Christ” in the middle of the back window. Disposition listed: “Report taken.”
6:58 a.m., Fraud/Forgery, McDonald’s at Greenback/Auburn. A suspect was arrested in connection with counterfeit money. No other details were included in the incident log. Disposition listed: “Arrest.”
7:16 a.m., Burglary, Spicer Drive. An “entire breaker box” was reportedly taken from a location on Spicer Drive, with multiple electric lines cut. Disposition listed: “Advised.”
3:27 p.m., Shoplifting, Target on Sunrise Blvd. A man attempted to steal over $100 of items from the Target store in the Birdcage shopping center, but was nabbed by loss prevention personnel. Disposition listed: “Arrest.”
4:15 p.m., Verbal disturbance, Montage Apartments on Fair Oaks Blvd. A man was stopping cars in the parking lot informing drivers that he was with the government. He reportedly was telling drivers “if anyone parks in space 307, he will destroy their car.” Disposition listed: “Assisted.”
April 5, 2017: Total of 60 incidents listed.

6:46 a.m., Non-injury collision, Auburn Blvd. A Ford Focus collided with a pole at the Villa Mobile Home Park on Auburn Boulevard, reportedly causing power to go out. Disposition listed: “Refer other agency.”
10:22 a.m., Vandalism, Patelco Credit Union on Sunrise Blvd. A front window of the credit union was reportedly shot at and shattered overnight, possibly by a BB gun. Window tint was holding the glass together. No suspect information was available, but security was reportedly working on pulling video from surveillance cameras. Disposition listed: “Report taken.”
12:14 p.m., Assault, Sunrise Blvd. A caller advised police that her son had “hit and bit her.” She was currently locked in a bedroom and said her son was “trying to kick [the] door down.” Disposition listed: “Assisted.”
5:49 p.m., Disturbance loitering, Sacramento Black Rifle on Greenback Ln. A man was reportedly taking photos and reading off license plates in the gun shop’s parking lot. He had also “called [the] landlord and cussed at him.” A trespassing notice was requested to be served. Disposition listed: “Gone on arrival.”

1:28 a.m., Prowler, Slippery Creek Ln. A caller reported hearing “footsteps on her roof.” The incident occurred at a home near Grocery Outlet off Auburn Boulevard. Disposition listed: “Unable to locate.”
11:30 a.m., Assault, Arlington Heights Elementary on Trenton Way. A physical altercation between two parents occurred in the parking lot of the elementary school. One parent allegedly struck another “with an open palm to her face.” Medical response was declined. Disposition listed: “Report taken.”
11:32 a.m., Homeless camp, El Sol Way. A caller reported several tents and a trailer in the Cherry Creek Manor Park, off Sperry Drive and El Sol Way. Disposition listed: “Citation.”
4:25 p.m., Stolen vehicle, Living Word Christian Fellowship on Greenback Ln. A suspect reportedly jumped into a woman’s passenger seat in the church parking lot, took her keys and cell phone, broke her phone, and then took her vehicle. A description of the vehicle was given, which had duct tape over one rear window. Disposition listed: “Unable to locate.”
8:19 p.m., Burglary, San Juan Ave. A suspect reportedly kicked in a garage door and took the caller’s dog. The suspect reportedly left on foot and traveled towards Greenback Lane on San Juan Avenue. Disposition listed: “Report taken.”
