Citrus Heights police on Tuesday released surveillance images of two suspects sought in connection with the burglary of a business on Lichen Drive, near Antelope Road.
“The theft from the commercial businesses in our community won’t be tolerated,” said Police Lt. Michael Wells in a news release accompanying the surveillance photos Tuesday afternoon. “We hope that the community can assist with identifying these subjects so that we can hold them accountable for this crime.”
Police said multiple suspects forced entry into a closed business in the early morning hours of Feb. 5 and “selected a substantial amount of items and fled the business with the stolen merchandise.” The store was not identified by name in the news release.
Surveillance images released by police show two men, one of whom appears to be wearing blue jeans and a dark “CALIFORNIA” hooded sweatshirt, with large text on three lines. Police described the man as appearing to be “white or Hispanic, with a small goatee,” approximately 5-feet-10-inches tall, with a thin build.
The other man captured on surveillance footage is described as white or Hispanic, approximately 5-feet-8-inches tall, with a “thick build.” He appears to be wearing a dark hooded zip-up jacket, gray undershirt, and dark pants.
Police said anyone with information about the incident is “strongly encouraged” to contact the Citrus Heights Police Department. The department’s non-emergency number is (916) 727-5500.
