An annual baby-focused event will be held at the Citrus Heights Community Center this Saturday, put on by Sacramento Parent Magazine.

The 8th annual “Babies and Bumps” event will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 9, designed to celebrate parenthood, pregnancy, babies, and families, according to an event brochure.

Entertainment, prizes and shopping opportunities at over 50 vendor and craft booths are promised at the free event, along with the famous “Cover Kid” search for that next adorable face to be featured on the September issue of Parent Magazine.

Organizers say a portion of event proceeds will go to “Chicks in Crisis,” a nonprofit organization helping pregnant or parenting women and youth become responsible parents and community leaders.

The community center is located at 6300 Fountain Square Dr. Learn more about the event at: www.babiesandbumps.net
