‘Best of Citrus Heights’ voting ends Feb. 15; over 10,000 votes cast

More than 10,000 votes have been cast so far in the Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce’s annual online “Best of Citrus Heights” business competition, with more than 3,000 votes coming in just the past two days.

bestofcitrusheights2015logoVoting kicked off on Jan. 11, 2016 and will continue through Feb. 15 at 11:59 p.m., with anyone with an email address able to cast votes online for local businesses they think deserve to win the “Best of” annual award from the Chamber.

After entering an email address at BestofCitrusHeights.org, voters can select their best business choice in up to 41 different categories. Choices range from just three businesses listed in smaller categories like storage facilities, to a dozen or more business choices in categories like insurance services. Other categories include restaurants, automotive services, and car washes.

In 2015, just under 10,000 votes were cast to determine winners in each category, with winning businesses earning the right to use the “Best of Citrus Heights” logo on their website and marketing material.

According to BestofCitrusHeights.org, the competition is designed to celebrate the “best business members in good standing of the Citrus Heights Chamber.” Winners this year will be honored at a March 8 awards luncheon, and a “Best of the Best” award is to be announced by the Chamber for the business who gains the most overall votes.
