Citrus Heights residents will have an opportunity to grab tickets at half-price this Friday to watch the California Dream professional tennis team face the Austin Aces in the temporary “Dream Stadium” set up in the Sunrise Mall parking lot.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the Citrus Heights community for our inaugural season,” the Dream team says on its website, adding that tickets will be available for $10 on Friday night “to show our appreciation to the citizens and businesses of Citrus Heights for hosting the California Dream.”

The “Citrus Heights Night” will feature chances to win prizes from local Sunrise Marketplace businesses, along with involving community members during halftime entertainment, according to the team’s website. The team also says it will select “one lucky family” for a free upgrade to Box seats for the entire match.

Dream players on schedule for the Friday-night match include Jarka Gajdosova, Anabel Medina Garrigues, Aisam Qureshi and Tennys Sandgren; while Nicole Gibbs, Teymuraz Gabashvili, Jarmere Jenkins and Alla Kudryavtseva are scheduled to play for the Austin Aces.
